8,000 Presents Collected for 'Rigal bi Mħabba' 2025

‘Rigal bi Mħabba’ has just wrapped up its 6th edition with a record-breaking 8,000 presents collected for children in need.
The initiative started by Lydia Abela, the Prime Minister’s wife, consists of collecting donations from the public that are then allocated to children who would have otherwise gone without presents this Christmas.
In a post to their social media, PM Robert Abela and his wife shared the exciting number of donations this year, more than ever received before.
They concluded by thanking the public for their generosity.
This initiative was born from a dream between Dr Lydia Abela and her daughter, Giorgia-Mae, and has significantly grown over 6 years.
