753 Inmates Serving Prison Sentences In Malta As Of June 2026

According to information tabled in parliament, it was noted how, as of last June, there were 753 serving prison sentences in Malta.
According to further information by Minister Glenn Bedingfield, 67 of these inmates were women.
In another parliamentary question, the Minister said that as of 23 June 2026, no inmates at Corradino Correctional Facility were serving sentences related to prostitution.
