75% Of Wied iż-Żurrieq Project Completed

Dipartiment tal-Informazzjoni (DOI) announced that works in Wied iż-Żurrieq continues following the completion of 75% of the major infrastructure project.

They added, 'Construction is taking place both day and night, in full coordination with the local community, to ensure the project is completed ahead of the summer.'

This significant investment will eliminate the need for private cesspits, which until now have been the only solution in the area. Once finished, the project will provide a modern and reliable drainage system while protecting the surrounding environment.

The project also includes upgrades and reinforcement of the potable water network, ensuring that all services are modernised before the road receives a new surface. Overall, this development is set to serve the community for decades to come.
