73 Year Old Woman At Risk Of Dying After Being Hit By Motorcycle In Tas-Sliema

Yesterday, at around 2230hrs, police were informed of a traffic accident which had taken place in Triq ix-Xatt, Tas-Sliema.
Police convened immediately on site and preliminary investigations found that a Moroccan man and a French woman, both aged 73 years old, had been hit by a Kymco Agility 16+ 125 motorcycle driven by a 26 year old French man resident of St Paul’s Bay.
A medical team was called on site and transported the two to Mater Dei Hospital. The woman was certified as having suffered serious injuries whereas the man had suffered grievous injuries.
More investigations underway.
