73 Year Old Polly Steals Hearts At Birkirkara Feast

As locals celebrated the feast of St Helen in Birkirkara this past weekend, one character stole the show; 73 year old Polly.

Raised up over the crowd on shoulders, Polly Micallef brought a vibrant energy to the feast and showed that no matter how old you are, you can still dance and enjoy the traditional Maltese festa celebrations.

In photos shared to Malta Daily and social media, Polly could be seen celebrating along with the Soċjeta Każin Santa Liena Banda Duke of Connaught’s Own, donning the feast’s red shirt and having an all around good time.
