According to recent Eurobarometer data, 73% of Maltese said that they believe the European Union is a place of stability in a troubled world.
This is only two percentage points below the European average. Meanwhile, 94% of Maltese believe that their country benefits from its membership in the European Union.
73% of citizens believe that the European Union should have more methods of facing global challenges.
