71-Year-old Man At Risk Of Dying Following Gozo Tuk Tuk Accident

This morning, at approximately 8:45 am, the Police were informed of a traffic accident on Triq tal-Kanal, in Xewkija, Gozo.
Upon arriving at the scene, a preliminary investigation revealed that a 71-year-old man from Xagħra had lost control of his Tuk Tuk vehicle, causing it to overturn.
Emergency medical services and members of the Civil Protection Department were called to assist, and the man was taken by ambulance to Gozo General Hospital for treatment. He was later certified as having sustained serious injuries.
