70 Year Old Woman At Risk Of Dying After Being Hit By Car In Imġarr

A 70 year old woman is at risk of dying following a traffic accident in Triq iż-Zebbiegħ, Imġarr.
At around 9:30am this morning, the woman was hit by a Ford Transit being driven by a 39-year-old Imġarr resident.
Police and a medical team were immediately called on scene, and the woman was quickly taken to Mater Dei Hospital for care, where she was certified to have suffered serious injuries.
Magistrat Dr. Franco Agius LL.D opened an inquiry on the case.
Police investigations are currently still underway.
