64% Of Maltese Had Problems When Online Shopping

According to Eurostat, Maltese online shoppers faced the highest rate of encountering problems while making purchases through websites or apps.
The rate for Maltese was a staggering 64%, around double the EU average of 35.4%.
The most common problem was slower delivery than expected, reported by a fifth of customers (19.9%). The second most frequent issue was the website being difficult to use or worked unsatisfactorily.
The country which saw the second highest rate was The Netherlands, which reported a rate of 57.9% in the same year.
The country in which online shoppers encountered the least amount of trouble was Portugal at just 4.5%.
