600 Persons Living In Malta Illegally Repatriated In Past 4 Months

Minister for Home Affairs Glenn Bedingfield said that in the past four months, 600 people who were living in Malta illegally were repatriated back to their hime country or to a country where they have permits to live in.
‘We continue to insist that in Malta only those who came here legally or have work and residence permits can stay’, said Bedingflied.
This comes amidst broader efforts to manage illegal and irregular immigration in Malta.
