60 Year Old Man Grievously Injured In Most Car Crash

Yesterday, at around 1815hrs, police were informed of a traffic accident that had taken place in Triq San Pawl tal-Qliegħa, Mosta.
Police convened on site and preliminary investigations shaped that a crash had taken place between a Volvo XC 40 driven by 57 year old man resident of Imtarfa and an Opel Astra driven by a 60 year old man resident of St Paul’s Bay.
A medical team was called on site and transported the two men to Mater Dei Hospital.
Later, the 60 year old man was reported to have suffered grievous injuries whereas the other victim suffered light injuries.
More investigations ongoing.
