Minister for Home Affairs and Security Glenn Bedingfield shared that 6 people have been rescued from Wied iż-Żurrieq this morning.
Minister Bedingfield urged the importance of prioritising safety on his social media, stating “Remember: Safety first - always.”
He proceeded to thank authorities for stepping up and assisting when the situation broke out.
“Well done and thank you to the Civil Protection Department, the Police, the Red Cross, the medical team and all those who gave a helping hand for a life to be saved,” he concluded.
