58 Year Old Motorcyclist Grievously Injured After Pieta Crash

A 58 year old man, resident of Birkirkara, was taken to Mater Dei Hospital at around 1030hrs, after he was involved in a traffic accident in Triq ix-Xatt, Pieta.
Preliminary investigations showed that the man had been driving a Moden motorcycle when he lost control of the vehicle and fell.
He was given preliminary medical aid and was taken to Mater Dei Hospital, where he was certified as having suffered grievous injuries.
Investigations by police are still ongoing.
