57 Year Old Motorcyclist Dies After Mosta Accident

A 57 year old man resident of Mosta tragically lost his life this morning in a Mosta traffic accident.
The accident happened at around 0700hrs in Vjal il-Qalbiena Mostin.
Preliminary investigations showed that a crash had taken place between a Ford Transit driven by a 65 year old man resident of Ħad-Dingli and a KTM motorcycle driven by the victim.
The motorcyclist was given preliminary medical aid and was taken to Mater Dei Hospital. Unfortunately, he was certified as deceased moments later.
Two minors were in the van in a Ford, but did not suffer any injuries. The driver was taken to the nearest health centre due to shock.
An inquiry has been opened and investigations are ongoing.
