57 Voluntary Organisations Receive Financial Support For Projects and Initiatives in Gozo

Minister for Gozo and Planning, Clint Camilleri, announced that 57 voluntary organisations will benefit from over €270,000 following their successful applications under the Ministry for Gozo and Planning Financial Assistance Scheme for the Voluntary Sector in Gozo.

Minister Camilleri stated that this support will enable numerous organisations to continue implementing projects that contribute to the welfare of the community and their members.

“The objectives of these schemes are to enhance Gozo’s social, cultural, and environmental fabric, as well as to improve sports facilities and the organisation of sporting events on the island. The schemes are also designed to promote and encourage a culture of volunteerism and participation in voluntary activities within Gozo’s society, while fostering cooperation and networking both between voluntary organisations themselves and with the Ministry for Gozo and Planning,” said Minister Camilleri.
