55 Year Old Woman At Risk Of Dying After Getting Stuck Between Wall & Vehicle

Yesterday, at around 1615hrs, a 55 year old Chinese woman resident of Qala, was taken to the Gozo General Hospital after she was involved in a traffic accident in Triq Ix-Xatt, Għajnsielem.
Preliminary investigations showed that a 27 year old man resident of Xewkija was driving a Citroen Berlingo when for some reason he lost control and crashed into a wall. The woman got stuck between the vehicle and a wall.
She was taken to hospital, where she was certified as having suffered serious injuries.
Investigations are ongoing.
