54 Year Old Man Suffers Grievous Injuries After Being Hit By Car In Ħaż-Żabbar

Yesterday, at around 1830hrs, police were informed of a traffic accident in Triq Sant’Antnin, Ħaż-Żabbar.
Police convened immediately on site and preliminary investigations showed that a 54 year old man resident of Haż-Żabbar had been hit by a Toyota Starlet driven by a 28 year old man resident of the same locality.
A medical team was called on site and transported the 54 year old to Mater Dei Hospital. He was later certified as having suffered grievous injuries.
Investigations are ongoing.
