4th Edition Of ‘Idearti - Graphic Art 2025’ Officially Kicks Off

he fourth edition of Idearti – Graphic Art 2025 was officially opened by Parliamentary Secretary for Youth, Research and Innovation, Keith Azzopardi Tanti.
The programme, developed through a partnership between the Youth Agency and the Mikiel Anton Vassalli College – School of Art, offers young people aged 18 to 30 the opportunity to develop their artistic skills and express their creativity.

Participants take part in practical training, mentoring, and a nine-month series of learning experiences designed to nurture talent and build confidence.
This year’s edition focuses on graphic art, a discipline that brings together art, design, communication, and technology. The programme encourages participants to explore their personal artistic voice while promoting empowerment, self-reflection, and personal growth.
The resulting works demonstrate originality, critical thinking, and the courage of young artists to experiment and create a distinctive artistic identity.
In his opening address, Parliamentary Secretary Keith Azzopardi Tanti praised the initiative as a significant platform for young talent.

He said that programmes like Idearti not only promote art, but also personal development, innovative thinking, and courage. Investing in youth creativity, he added, is an investment in the country’s future.
Youth Agency CEO Miriam Teuma described the programme as a key pillar of youth empowerment policy, providing a safe space for exploration, collaboration, and skill development. A panel of experts will judge participants’ work, with the winning artist receiving a €3,500 scholarship to study abroad.
All entries will be featured in an e-catalogue recognising the dedication and artistic journey of each participant.
