47.6% Of Maltese Say Incentives To Have More Kids Not Convincing

According to the State of the Nation survey, 47.6% of respondents said that incentives to have more kids, such as those being utilised abroad, are not convincing enough to have more children.

36% of Maltese said they would be convinced to have more children, whereas 16.4% said they were unsure.

Meanwhile, those aged 36 to 45 were the least likely to be convinced of such incentives, with 61.7% saying they would not have more kids despite incentives.

The cohort most likely to consider it was the 26 to 35 year old cohort at 48%, but 42% of them still said no and only 9.1% being unsure.

40.8% of 16 to 25 year olds said they would consider it, with 38.1% said they would not.
