45 Year Old Cyclist At Risk Of Dying After Crash In Żejtun

Today, at around 1015hrs, police were informed that their assistance was needed in Triq id-Daħla Ta’ San Tumas, Iż-Żejtun.
Police convened immediately on site and found that an accident had taken place between a 47 year old man resident of Ħal Tarxien riding a bike, and a DAF vehicle driven by an 82 year old man resident of Imqabba.
The cyclist was taken to Mater Dei Hospital and was later confirmed to have suffered serious injuries.
Investigations are ongoing.
