45% Of Over 65 Year Olds In Malta Say Their Health Is Very Good

According to data released by Eurostat, 45.6% of over 65 year olds in Malta said that their health was either good or very good.
This was above the 40% EU average measured in 2024. The country with the highest health perception for its older population was Ireland at 62%.
This was followed by Belgium and Luxembourg at 57.4% and 56.8%. Lithuania registered the lowest health perception for its 65+ year olds at 12.5%.
