44-Year-Old Japanese Woman Grievously Injured In Accident In St Paul’s Bay

A 44-year-old Japanese woman, residing in Birkirkara, was hospitalised following a traffic accident in Triq San Pawl, St Paul’s Bay, at around 7.30pm yesterday evening.
Initial police investigations revealed that a 44-year-old German man, living in St Julian’s, lost control of a Voge 300Rally motorcycle and fell. The woman was riding as a passenger on the motorbike.
Both received assistance from a medical team on site, and the woman was taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance, where she was certified to be suffering from serious injuries.
Police investigations are ongoing.
