43 Year Old Man Dies After Finding Difficulty Swimming In Gozo

Today, police were informed at around 1330hrs, that an accident had taken place in Ramla l-Ħamra, Xaħgra, Gozo.
Preliminary investigations showed that a 43 year old Polish man found difficulty whilst swimming.
He was given medical aid on site by Emergency Response and Rescue Corps lifeguards and a team from Gozo General Hospital.
Unfortunately, he was deemed deceased on site.
An inquiry has been opened and investigations are ongoing.
