40 Year Old English Man Arrested In Relation To Drug Importation & Trafficking Investigation

A 40 year old English man has been arrested in relation to a police investigation related to the importation of drugs, along with drug trafficking.
The police made the arrest after the confiscation of a package which was delivered to Malta from France.
It reportedly contained around a kilogram of cocaine, worth around €100,000.
A magisterial inquiry is currently underway in relation to the case, led by Magistrat Dr Joe Mifsud LL.D.
The accused is expected to be arraigned in court later today.
