40 Ex-Police Officers Returned To The Force Between 2021-2025

According to information tabled in parliament, between 2021 and the 15th of October 2025, there were 40 ex-police officials who returned to their same rank.
These consisted of 2 inspectors, 3 major sergeants, 11 sergeants and 24 constables.
During the same time period, 128 ex-officials entered into the reserve police officers rank.
The information was tabled by Minister Byron Camilleri and the question posed by MP Graziella Galea.
