4 Turtle Releases In Ġnejna Bay Waters

Saving Our Blue has announced the release of rescued turtles at Ġnejna Bay. Axil, Gabrielle, Chiquito, and Arielle, who spent several months recovering at the Xrobb l-Għaġin rehabilitation centre in Marsaxlokk, were returned to the sea in a heartwarming event that highlights the importance of protecting Malta’s marine wildlife.

Saving Our Blue wrote, “Today we had the privilege to take part in a special turtle release, where Axil, Gabrielle, Chiquito, and Arielle returned to the sea after spending several months at the rehabilitation centre in Xrobb l-Għaġin, Marsaxlokk.”

They added, “Huge thank you to all the volunteers, Nature Trust, and the Wildlife Rescue Team Malta for their incredible dedication and hard work throughout the year.”
