4 New Ultrasound Machines Available At Mater Dei

In a recent Facebook post, Minister of Health Jo Etienne Abela posted a video announcing the introduction of 4 new ultrasound machines at Mater Dei hospital.

This investment which costed approximately half a million will better the experience of both specialists and patients as it further modernises the treatment offered at the hospital, he explained.

Thanks to the introduction of these new machines, Abela announced that Mater Dei hospital is now able to offer a new service.

With this new equipment, patients can get an ultrasound of their small intestine, something which before was not possible at Malta’s public hospital.
