38 Year Old Woman Grievously Injured After Motorcycle Crash In Imqabba

A 38 year old Romanian woman resident of Imqabba was involved in a traffic accident this morning in Triq il-Konvoj ta’ Santa Marija, l-Imqabba.
At around 0930hrs, police assistance was requested. When they convened on site, they found that a crash had taken place between a Yamaha motorcycle driven by the woman and a Toyota Hilux driven by a 77 year old man resident of Ħal Kirkop.
The woman was given preliminary aid on site and was taken to Mater Dei Hospital for further assistance. She was later certified as having suffered grievous injuries.
Investigations are still ongoing.
