35 Firefighters Bring Qormi Factory Fire Under Control

Civil Protection Malta firefighters responded promptly to an industrial fire at a factory in Qormi earlier today. The fire has been successfully localised and extinguished, although officers remain on site to monitor the situation until it is fully under control.

A total of 35 firefighters, supported by 11 fire-fighting appliances and five senior CPD officers, were deployed to the scene. Approximately 100,000 litres of water and 5,000 litres of foam were used in the operation.

Civil Protection Malta has confirmed that no casualties have been reported, and the situation is now stable. The department continues to monitor the site to ensure the fire is completely extinguished and the area is safe.
