34-Year-Old Man Dies In Fatal Traffic Accident In Gudja

A 34-year-old man from Cospicua lost his life in a traffic accident in Gudja this morning.
The accident occurred at around 9:45am in Triq Ħal Far and involved a Leyland truck driven by a 63-year-old man from Żurrieq and a Yamaha GDP125-A motorcycle being ridden by the victim.
The motorcyclist was given immediate medical assistance by a medical team following the collision. However, he was unfortunately certified dead at the scene.
Magistrate Dr Monica Borg Galea LL.D was informed of the case and appointed an inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Police investigations are ongoing.
