34 Nominations Submitted Ahead Of PN Executive Committee Election

The Nationalist Party (PN) announces that a total of 34 nominations have been submitted for the election of 18 representatives from the PN General Council to the Party’s Executive Committee. The nomination period officially closed yesterday at 4pm.
The election will take place on Friday, 17 October, during the opening session of the Administrative General Council, held under the theme “Dan hu l-Mument”. All PN Councillors are eligible to vote, with 18 seats to be filled on the Executive Committee.
Voting will be held at the PN Headquarters in Tal-Pietà, Malta, from 12pm to 9pm, and at the PN Sub-Headquarters in Ta’ Sannat, Gozo, from 12pm to 7pm. Councillors may choose to vote at either location without prior notice.
According to the PN Statute, candidates are divided into four distinct lists. Six women, six men, four youths, and two Gozitan representatives are to be elected, with those receiving the highest number of votes within each list securing a seat on the Executive Committee.
The nominations submitted for each list are as follows:
Men (12 nominations, 6 to be elected): Bonello David, Borg David, Cauchi Ludwig, Fenech Adami Michael, Grech Joseph, Miceli Mauro, Piccinino Michael, Portelli Andreas Juan, Rosso Mario, Spiteri Simon, Vella William, Vella Salvinu.
Women (12 nominations, 6 to be elected): Agius Lara Marie, Bartolo May, Cachia Mary, Camilleri Natasha, Cassar Marthese, Dalli Michela, Galea Cynthia, Perici Calascione Veronica, Spiteri Lisa, Stafrace Angele, Theuma Maria Victoria, Vella Fonde Marisa.
Youths (6 nominations, 4 to be elected): Caruana Michela, Caruana Garcia Krista, Gerada Freddie, Scerri Karen, Vella Nikolai, Zammit Nicole.
Gozo (4 nominations, 2 to be elected): Galea Beppe, Teuma Hayden, Theuma Maria Victoria, Vella William.
The PN Electoral Commission reminds all voters that they must present their Identity Card to receive a ballot sheet. Each PN Councillor is entitled to cast a separate vote for each of the four lists.
