335 Separations Recorded In Malta And Gozo So Far In 2025

In a parliamentary question and answer, Minister for Justice and Reform of the Construction Sector, Jonathon Attard, provided details on the number of separations in Malta and Gozo from 2020 up to 7th October 2025.

The Minister reported that in 2020 there were 429 separations in Malta and 15 in Gozo. The following year, 2021, saw 521 separations in Malta and 10 in Gozo.

In 2022, Malta recorded 434 separations while Gozo had 20. The figures for 2023 showed 472 separations in Malta and 15 in Gozo. In 2024, there were 419 separations in Malta and 16 in Gozo. For 2025, up to 7th October, Malta had 319 separations and Gozo 16.

The data, presented in a table by the Minister, highlights the annual trends in separations across the islands over the past five years.
