33 Year Old Woman Grievously Injured After Crashing Into Binġemma Field

A 33 year old woman resident of Siġġiewi, at around 0515hrs, was involved in a traffic accident which took place in Triq id-Dwejra, Binġemma in the limits of Rabat.
Preliminary investigations showed that she was driving a Nissan Qashqai, when she lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a field in the vicinity of the road.
A medical team and Civil Protection convened on site, with the woman being rescued from the site and transported to hospital.
She was later certified to have suffered grievous injuries.
Investigations are ongoing.
