33 People Registered to Donate Their Bodies for Scientific Study in 2025

In a recent Parliamentary Questions session, it was revealed that 33 individuals registered to donate their bodies for scientific study in 2025 and up to the date the question was answered.
The question was put forward by Nationalist MP Ivan Bartolo to the Minister for Education, Sport, Youth, Research and Innovation, Clifton Grima.
Minister Grima stated that he was informed that 33 people, following their death, donated their bodies to the Department of Anatomy at the University of Malta to be used for research and study purposes in the field of Anatomy.
