32 Persons Arrested In Gżira After Found Living Illegally, Asking For Money

The Malta Police Force, assisted by the Detention Services Agency, conducted operations in Gżira after days of observation linked to reports of persons requesting money in the area.
During the operation, 32 persons were arrested after they were found to be living in Malta illegally. Among them were two persons who were allegedly asking for money.
The persons are currently being held a the detention centre awaiting repatriation.
