31 Year Old Woman Dies After Crash In St Julian’s

A 31 year old Colombian woman resident of Birkirkara sadly lost her life in a traffic accident which took place in St Julian’s.
The accident happened at around 0300hrs in Triq Mikiel Anton Vassalli. Preliminary investigations showed that a crash had taken place between a Kia Picanto driven by a 21 year old man resident of Marsaskala and a TVS Jupiter motorcycle driven by the victim.
The woman was given preliminary medical aid on site but was unfortunately deemed deceased moments later.
An inquiry has been opened as investigations by police continue.
