31 Year Old Motorcyclist At Risk Of Dying After Naxxar Traffic Collision

A 31-year-old man from Rabat suffered serious injuries following a traffic accident in Naxxar on Sunday evening.
Police said the collision occurred at around 6.30pm in Triq is-Salini.
Preliminary investigations showed that the accident involved a Honda motorcycle ridden by the 31-year-old man and a Volkswagen Jetta driven by a 55-year-old man from Swieqi.
A medical team was called to the scene to assist the motorcyclist, who was later taken to hospital by ambulance.
He was subsequently certified as suffering from serious injuries.
Magistrate Dr Monica Borg Galea LL.D has been informed of the case and has opened an inquiry.
Police investigations into the incident are ongoing.
