31-Year-Old Man Arrested Shortly After Msida Shop Robbery

A 31 year old man was arrested last night shortly after allegedly carrying out a robbery in Msida, slightly injuring a shop employee.
Investigations carried out by The Malta Police Force revealed that the man allegedly entered the shop, armed with a sharp weapon.
The store employee resisted when the man allegedly demanded money from the cash. Unfortunately, the employee was left slightly injured.
A few hours after the robbery, the man was spotted in Marsa and promptly arrested.
The case was handed to Magistrate Dr Philip Galea Farrugia LLD who has now appointed a magisterial inquiry.
