30 Year old Motorbike Driver Fighting For His Life Following Swieqi Traffic Incident

A 30 year old man from Pembroke was taken to Mater Dei Hospital at around half past midnight (0030hrs) after being injured in a traffic accident in Triq il-Madliena, Swieqi.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the man was riding a Honda motorcycle when he lost control and crashed into a wall.
He was given assistance by a medical team, transported to hospital by ambulance, and was later certified as suffering from serious injuries.
Magistrate Dr Joseph Mifsud LL.D was informed of the case and has appointed an inquiry, while police investigations are still ongoing.
