30% Of Maltese Bought Event Tickets Online 3 Months Before 2025 Survey

30.2% of Maltese bought tickets online for events in the previous three months in 2025, well above the European average of 26.8%.
The annual survey on ICT usage in households and by individuals shows that, in 2025, the majority of online ticket sales was registered by Ireland at 51.5%.
This was followed by the Netherlands and Denmark at 48.1% and 47.9% respectively. Meanwhile, Malta’s neighbour Italy registered the third lowest rate at 14.2%.
