3 Women Arrested In Qrendi For Alleged Cocaine Trafficking

Three women were arrested in relation to alleged drug trafficking in a Qrendi residence.
After days of investigations, police conducted a raid in a residence yesterday at around 1300hrs. From searches, around 100 grams of a substance suspected to be cocaine with a market value of over €13,000 was found.
More objects were found related to drug trafficking, along with a number of phones.
The persons arrested were a 40 year old woman from Qrendi, a 35 year old woman from Valletta and a 28 year old from Valletta. They are currently held in the Floriana lock up.
The 35 year old is expected to be arraigned in court today at around noon, accused of cocaine trafficking as well as breaking a number of court conditions.
