3 Men Arrested In 2 Separate Drug Busts: Cocaine, Ecstasy & More Found

Two separate investigations related to drug importation led to the arrest of three men and the discovery of various substances which seemed to be ready for trafficking.

In the first case, two Italian men, aged 22 and 19 years old, were arrested as police conducted a controlled delivery after earlier on a a suspicious package from Spain had been confiscated.

In the package, 15kg of suspected cannabis were found. Later, during a search of the mens’ residence, further items related to drug trafficking were found.

In a separate investigation, a 21 year old Maltese was arrested after he was found in possession of 170 pills of ecstasy, as well as suspected cocaine and magic mushrooms, all reportedly ready for trafficking.

The three men are expected to be arraigned in court later on today.
