Domain Academy celebrated its 30th anniversary with a grand graduation ceremony held at the Malta Fairs and Convention Centre in Attard on Friday evening.

The event marked three decades of dedication to education and training, honouring the achievements of more than 240 graduates from 20 different nationalities.

Students completed programmes across five fields of study, including Computing, Business, Hospitality, and Health and Social Care, with courses ranging from MQF Level 4 and 5 Diplomas to full Bachelors and MBAs.

Her Excellency Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca spoke at the ceremony, highlighting the Academy’s growth since its establishment in 1995 and commending its enduring civic engagement.

She praised Ms Miraide Gatt, Executive Director, for her leadership and dedication to the institution’s social contributions over the years.

Ms Gatt delivered an emotional address, thanking both past and present staff for their role in the Academy’s development from a small licensed private school into one of Malta’s leading private education institutions.

She also announced the launch of a new Master’s in Health Psychology in partnership with Willingness, a programme unique in Malta offered by a private institution.

Prof. Alexandra Charles of the University of Derby congratulated the graduates and praised the Academy’s commitment to high-quality education. She presented the Outstanding Achievement Award for Academic Year 2024-2025 to MBA Global graduate Mr Jordy McKay. Ms Mireille Farrugia was awarded Best Performing Student by Pearson for her Higher National Diploma in Computing.

Student representative Mr Kieran Schiembri Wilson expressed gratitude to staff and highlighted the Academy’s role in providing lifelong learning opportunities for students from diverse backgrounds.
