29-Year Old Motorcyclist Grievously Injured in Birkirkara Collision

A traffic accident in Triq L-Imdina, Birkirkara on Sunday afternoon left a motorcyclist grievously injured.
Police received a report of the incident at around 12:00pm and responded immediately. Preliminary investigations indicate that the crash involved an Opel Astra, driven by a 32-year-old man from San Ġwann, and a Honda motorcycle ridden by a 29-year-old man from Santa Venera.
A medical team attended the scene, and the motorcyclist was transported to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance, where he was later certified as suffering grievous injuries.
Authorities have confirmed that investigations into the circumstances of the collision are ongoing.
