29 Underage Drivers Crashed In Malta Since 2020

In a parliamentary question and answer, Minister for Home Affairs, Security, and Labour, Byron Camilleri, provided information on traffic incidents involving minors as drivers.
Minister Camilleri stated that between 2020 and the end of September 2025, there were twenty-nine (29) traffic accidents involving individuals under the age of eighteen in total.
Broken down by year, there were 8 cases in 2020, 3 in 2021, 5 in 2022, 3 in 2023, 5 in 2024, and 5 up to 30 September 2025.
