28 Year Old Worker At Risk Of Dying After Falling Over One Storey In Gozo

Today, at around 1030hrs, police were informed that their assistance was needed in Triq it-Tiġrija, ix-Xagħra, Gozo.
Preliminary investigation showed that a 28 year old Abanian man and resident of Rabat, Gozo, had fallen around one and a half storeys whilst working.
A medical team as called on site and an ambulance transported the man to the Gozo General Hospital.
He was confirmed to have suffered serious injuries. He was later transported to Mater Dei Hospital via helicopter for further assistance.
An inquiry has been opened, with investigations by police along with the Authority for Health and Safety on the Workplace continues.
