28 Arrested in Immigration And Public Order Checks With Detention Services

The Malta Police Force, assisted by officials from Detention Services, carried out routine inspections across several localities, including Marsa, St Julian’s, Gżira, and Sliema, targeting irregular immigration and public order matters.
The operations resulted in the arrest of 28 individuals. Thirteen were found to be residing in Malta illegally, while the remaining 15 are under investigation in connection with vagrancy and/or begging.
Police investigations are ongoing.
