2,700+ Applications For Maltese Citizenship Denied In Past 5 Years

Minister for Home Affairs, Security and Employment Byron Camilleri revealed in parliament that in the past five years, a total of 2,752 persons had their application for Maltese citizenship naturalisation denied.
Out of these, 756 persons were dependents.
The Minister did not reveal where these persons hailed from and for how long they have been in Malta.
The question was tabled by PN MP Graziella Attard Previ.
