27 Year Old Motorcyclist Grievously Injured In Swieqi Crash

Yesterday, at around 1800hrs, police were informed of an accident which had taken place in Triq Tal-Ibraġ, is-Swieqi.
Police convened immediately on site and preliminary investigations showed that a crash took place between a Volkswagen Golf drive by a 23 year old woman resident of Tas-Sliema and a Sunra Robo-S motorcycle driven by a 27 year old man resident of San Ġwann.
A medical team was called on site and transported the man to Mater Dei Hospital, where he was certified to have suffered grievous injuries.
Investigations are ongoing.
