25mm In One Night: Xewkija Gozo Hit Hardest By Morning Showers

Following the heavy rain last night, Aġġornament Tat-Temp has shared the localities in Malta and Gozo that were affected the most.

As of 8:30 this morning, Gozo took the brunt of the downpour, with 25mm of rain falling over Xewkija and 20mm hitting Xagħra.

While Malta saw less rain, Mellieħa still recording 17mm overnight., ahead of Mosta with 13mm, and Luqa with 11mm.

Across the country, the heavy rain flooded several roads, causing disruptions and delays for countless morning commuters.
